If you are just starting out, start with the basics!
Cut out all of the junk.. no sodas, candy, cookies, crackers, chips, pizza, fast food, sugary cereals, highfat dressings and marinades, creamy pasta sauces, and most of the stuff in the center aisles of the grocery store.
Next, incorporate whole, natural, single-ingredient foods into your diet! Look how yummy this salad looks! You can season your meats with Mrs. Dash (there are like 20 flavors, all DELICIOUS… especially the lemon pepper one!)…I love lemon pepper chicken
The best part of these items is that they’re all highly portable! I put the cheerios, pretzels and chickpeas in individual serving bags so when I pack my bag for the library I can just grab one and be ready to go!
